Soo Kui Jien got his big break when he became a host on the Disney Channel in 1997, and has gone on to be one of the most recognizable faces on Asian television, having made appearances on regional channels such as MediaCorp, HBO and AXN. As well as being host for both Malaysian Idol and the recent Asian Idol, he is also an actor and model, and has endorsed international brands such as Adidas, Shi Zen and Motorola. Jien can currently be seen as a host on Star Sports covering a diverse array of events, including football, X-Games and tennis.
